Does anyone use Streams and Tasks anymore?

Reddit r/snowflake2d4 min read

Doesn't dbt and an orchestration tool(dbt cloud, airflow etc) or dynamic tables completely make streams/tasks irrelevant for ELT transformation jobs? Or is there a reason that you would avoid dbt/Dynamic Tables and still prefer the Streams+Tasks approach to do transformations? And goes without saying, this excludes maintaining legacy code. submitted by /u/SinkNeither1527 [link] [comments]
