I asked about this years ago… ended up building it myself

Hey! A while ago I posted here asking if Power BI could have a slicer with a dynamic default, like always selecting the latest year/date when the report opens. Back then I couldn’t find anything that worked the way I wanted, especially with Power BI Report Server . So I ended up building my own custom visual: AutoDefaultSlicer .
