Shifting to use one model for multiple reports

I had a workspace with one semantic model and one report, both with the same name named after one counterpart (say, Counterpart A Report). I decided I wanted to expand the use of that semantic model for reports for other counterparts. I renamed the semantic model something more general, Customer Reports Model, and I republished the counterpart-specific report as a thin report using that model, this report was still published under the name Counterpart A Report. I later updated the model in desktop by starting with the original pbix file I had made for the counterpart, removing all but one page
