What is the purpose of Semantic Model Read Permission? except for RLS implementation.

Hey guys, does anybody know what is the purpose of giving only the read permission on a specific semantic model to a user? MS Documentation The Microsoft documentation states the above, however we are not concerned about reports at the moment, only the semantic model in Fabric environment. I have given a user read only permission on semantic model - User permission on the model What can he do with this? He certainly cannot explore the data in it for some reason (maybe a bug or something) - user trying to access the model in PBI desktop Neither can he explore the data in the power bi service -
